I live it....i dance it...i create it...the goal of my sessions are to embrace you..to teach..to share..to learn...I need you to listen to me so I can define the music going forward ... I trust my audience as I trust my own ear..its a give and take ..its a union...So, I ran into sista Sundance..doin her thing and was introduced to this site...and wow...its a warm creative place to be...I will soon get some pics and music up..but for now..its simply an INTRODUCTION...My name?....DJ Kimya...where i've spun...hmmmm? everywhere but I will list some notable venues...DelaCosta..Crimson Lounge, House of Blues (foundation room).Butterfield 8, Narcisse, Redline, Crobar, Excalibur,Dennis Rodmans Illusions, The GENERATOR, The Park West, Hotel Victor, the Dark Room, Loft 52, Sushi Samba, Dusable Museum, Bronzeville African Heritage Museum, East Room Sears Tower.....im looking forward to traveling outside Chicago to spread the sound GLOBALLY...so lets make this happen..for now..keep your ear near the speakers!!!!!

just gettin in....
Well its 3am..just gettin in...phew!!!!!!..50 dollars in tips...oh geeeeesh...thank God...Well listen about those tips...I have a question?...when you have your set already prepared...and patrons start to gear you in their direction...now keep in mind..I have 10 yrs at this and still query the actions...what do you do?....well tonight...I was a juke box...I screened the crowd...and played their vibe...how about at closing, the bar staff stated."Kimya...dont let them dictate what you play"...i wa… Continue
